Visit Enceladus: Art Print

Enceladus is a moon of Saturn and one of the most reflective bodies in the Solar System since it’s mostly covered by fresh, clean ice. It’s surface temperature at noon only reaches −198 °C (−324 °F), far colder than a light-absorbing body would be.
It was discovered in 1789, but not much was known about it until Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 passed by in the early ‘80s. Most recently, data from the Cassini–Huygens mission found evidence that Enceladus is geologically active and also detected complex macromolecular organics on Enceladus’s jet plumes.
